Reformers Collective
This podcast is the landing place where high level community reformers and city transformers meet with host Becky Hennesy to discuss and discover godly solutions to earthly problems. Through in-depth conversations and occasional solo episodes, Becky Hennesy tackles this new calling and assignment over life with the same passion she's had for local church ministry for 40+ years. NOTE: Beginning October 2021, Reformers Collective replaces the Being Becky podcast. Current subscribers to Being Becky will now receive notifications for new Reformers Collective episodes.
Reformers Collective
The Church Needs Revival But the World Needs Reformation (Drew Neal)
Host Becky Hennesy catches up with Drew Neal, who was one of the many guest speakers at the recent Reformers Collective Conference held at Trinity Church (Cedar Hill, Texas) on October 18-19, 2021.
Like any authentic Christian leader, Drew is naturally all for church revival. He fondly calls them "sweaty Jesus meetings" and affirms their value in the Kingdom. But he lays out an argument that revival in the church without reformation in the world leaves the fire we experience in the pew as just a temporary flame.
In addition, they discuss how to live an authentic Christian life that will make a lasting change both inside and outside the four walls of the church.
